Cattle on feedlot that supplies manure to renewable natural gas facility (RNG)

what we do

Taurus RNG leads the development of renewable energy facilities in North America. Our solutions are developed together with farming owners and operators, and integrate seamlessly with operations. Taurus RNG maintains ownership for the lifetime of the project, ensuring high quality development, operations and partnerships.

Anaerobic Digesters create carbon-negative fuel called renewable natural gas (RNG) by speeding up the natural decomposition process of feedlot manure and capturing the resulting methane.

how it works

When manure decomposes, it naturally releases methane into the atmosphere. Before this greenhouse gas can escape, we collect the manure and transport it to our facility to create Renewable Natural Gas.

A natural byproduct of the process is a high-nutrient digestate that can be used in place of fertilizer.

A COMMUNITY-CENTERED MINDSET

We believe in listening to and engaging with the people and businesses within the communities in which we operate. Our team will  work with  local communities, jurisdictions and regulators on permitting. Community input and involvement is an important part of our decision making and we want to share information about our project and gather your feedback.
